waitingmanExcuse my parochialism, but this is about an Australian contestant on an Australian cooking competition show, so feel free to skip if you've no interest in TV Down Under...
A favourite to win this year's Masterchef season, has had anti-gay comments he made 6 years ago, come to light in the media... saying that homosexuality is a mental illness & that gay people should be captured & put on an island, so the freaks can go fuck themselves
And just like that, L-SP & I have switched our allegiance to another contestant. We're also pleased we never went to this guy's restaurant & now never will. It's good to know that our AUD$300 can be better spent elsewhere
Of course, he's remorseful & says he was young & stupid when he made the comments... but I'm pretty sure he's just remorseful he's been found out. Especially since he's on the show competing against at least 3 gay people...
