waitingmanA day at home... various domestic chores & duties, but plenty of time to good, old-fashioned surf the web...
So congratulations to the Simpsons for getting a made-up word into the dictionary. As an English language & grammar pedant, albeit one with my own quirks, inventiveness & sense of humour, I don't know whether to laugh or cry...
Speaking of fake things... here's a list of places throughout the world that aren't what they seem... Interesting that they didn't include the Eiffel Tower in Las Vegas, or this bridge... that's nowhere near the original... or water for that matter
Next... some guitar practice to be ready for my 2nd lesson this weekend. My 15yr old student wants to learn the acoustic chords to Pink Floyd's 'Dogs'. I'm not sure how to play them in standard tuning, let alone the tuning I use... This could sound ugly for a while
