A Bit Of A Mind Slip

Oops ~ too busy reading detective novels last night to think about writing anything... & nobody was murdered or robbed in my life yesterday anyway

Due to a staff member being off sick, I was dispatched to the Neutral Bay showroom for the day. A much smaller space, but normally a lot busier. I say 'normally' because it certainly wasn't on this particular day which, to be fair, was rainy, windy & cold. The end of Week One at the new job was marked by a phone call from one of the Company Directors, asking me how it had gone. I told him I was pretty happy, but that he should ask his brother the Co-Director, with whom I've been working all week, how he thought it had gone. Turns out, he'd done that already & apparently he's pretty happy too

So I can go back to work on Monday then... Good, because I'm starting to put various bits of information together in my head & can speak to clients fairly confidently up to a point ~ certainly enough to engage their interest & qualify them ~ & it's nice to feel that's been noticed & possibly appreciated a little...
