Pressure & Pain II

Today ~ the second of four planned Chinese massages. Last week's session was obviously just to soften me up...
Again, no appreciable waiting on entering the alcove, my allocated guy walked in behind me. He looked like the archetypal Buddhist monk ~ short, bald, peaceful, expressionless face, not much of a talker...
A monk alright... from the Shao-Lin Temple I'm guessing. The man has a killer elbow... & hand heel... & fingers for that matter. He was much more thorough than the young guy last week, working from near-knee to neck/skull join & down to my fingertips ~ literally, he had a fancy move of snapping his fingers off the tips of mine that sounded impressive... just not sure what it's supposed to do, my fingers aren't the problem. Though the shake of my left hand that cracked three fingers & my wrist was a nice trick.
No warming up this time, it was straight into my right side & shoulder with the killer bits & this time I couldn't help gasping a few times as he bore down in a few places. Unlike last week's guy, there were no grunts of effort from the Killer Monk, he barely spoke, to me or anyone else. Another practise of note ~ when he needed to move around the table, he simply pushed it out of his way, no squeezing past things for KM. If he wanted part of me to move, the part was simply gripped & moved. As if I'd argue!! He spent a lot of time on the right shoulder, which has been the most painful area for the longest time, so it'll be interesting to feel the results. Hell, it'll be interesting to start feeling anything... I still don't know how I walked out afterwards. Everything was kind of numb...comfortably.
Given how I woke sore yet unbruised last Monday & that it took till Wednesday to really feel the benefits of the first massage, I wonder how I'll go a week later?
Some Reward Retail Therapy at JB HiFi & now home in WaitingManor, with a quiet night in desired. We shall see...
