Agony Of De Feet.
Oct. 27th, 2008 12:20 amBack from the all-too-brief Melbourne trip.
My feet hurt ~ I'm convinced if I pointed my sister in the direction of the West Gate Bridge & said "Go for it..." I'd get a call from Adelaide a week later asking for further directions. The girl loves(!!!) walking... & we did a lot.
A very touristy trip ~ St Kilda Pier & Acland St, Richmond factory outlets, St Patrick's Cathedral, the Rialto Tower, QVMarkets, Carlton Gardens... Missed Docklands (not really...), Brighton & the odd shopping complex... but pretty sure we covered most of those!! Also missed catching up with friends, however small children are no respecters of tight schedules ~ they have their own moment-to-moment agenda... subject to regular change.
The photographic theme for the weekend seems to have been architecture & statuary... as well as the inevitable skies.
The Virgin Blue Departure Lounge at Tullamarine is a place I never want to see again. No problem with the Arrivals one though...
