Salvation's Rocky Road...

... has probably been closed off for the duration of World Youth Day, along with every other f@%king road I needed this evening to get from Newtown to Woolloomooloo.
45 minutes, 3 ouroboros-like loops around Surry Hills & some temper-induced V8 speeding up narrow back lanes. And we were nowhere near Randwick, where the feckless faithful were flocking.
And this is how the Catholic church hopes to spread the word of peace, love, tolerance etc...
What?! None of the 'Pilgrims' know how to use a f@%king footpath??!! As far as I'm concerned, the next one I see walking rapturously down one of my tax dollar-funded roads will find the fast-track to heaven begins with a single sudden impact.
Get religion off the streets & back in the church where it belongs.
