I realised today, looking through about a dozen e-mails from job search engines, that I don't have much desire for a 'professional' career path any more. Reading all these ads looking for 'driven', 'target-focused', 'energetic' people who have a 'can-do' attitude & 'laser focus' on their goals, just left me cold... or maybe just old. At this stage, I'm just looking for a salary that will help to achieve some life goals, from a job that's comfortable, but not boring, challenging, but not stressful... but above all - secure!!
