I Hab a Code...

In this time of Plague, with masks still around, social distancing still recommended & hand-sanitisers & wipes still readily available, I've managed to catch a cold

My prime suspect is the child of a kind-of-co-worker who manages one of the stores I contract to. He had to bring his sick kid to work last Thursday & while I was there for an hour drawing some plans, the kid was running around the whole place, touching everything & coughing everywhere. Despite my best efforts to stay away, I woke on Saturday morning with that feeling in the back of my throat that indicates trouble brewing. I took a home Covid test, which was negative, but it's only become worse over the last few days, with a tonsil-razing cough, a headache the size of Western Australia & today a blocked left ear... Fortunately work has been a bit light this week, so I haven't had to run myself ragged, but tomorrow looks to be a busy one, dammit. I went for a PCR test today - the one where they tickle your tonsils & sinuses & have just received the result - negative for Covid, so at least I can declare to everyone I have to encounter tomorrow that although I'm wearing a mask, I'm not carrying the 'Spicy Cough'...
