Christmas Day Five

In the torpor between Christmas Lunch & Dinner, I'm in the spare room/office/studio/server hub with a glass of Kilkenny ale & a few spare minutes. So...

1) If you had to build a Christmas tree with just items around your house, what would definitely be part of it?
Cat fur!! Bella is a calico - mostly white, with spots of ginger & tabby, so it would be a very Wintry tree!!

2) What's your favorite holiday to decorate for?
We don't really... As previously mentioned, our Christmas decoration is usually wrapping paper offcuts, unused cards & tags... Growing up, Halloween wasn't really a thing here in Australia, so there wasn't much call for fake webs, skeletons etc... & I'm not Goth enough now to turn the front yard into a Ghouls Paradise

3) What are you best at baking?
Other than myself on Australia's notoriously sunny days, the only thing I really 'bake' is potatoes (though most would argue that's more 'roasting' than 'baking'). L-SP is the baker of the house - mostly muffins & occasional cakes, but like me, she's more a fan of roasting than baking!!

4) What memorable gift do you still appreciate?
I know it was barely a week ago, but any excuse to look at, then play, my new 12-string acoustic guitar again...

5) What would be a good reindeer name?
Now Stormy, now Squally, now Showers & Drizzle! On Lightning & Thunder, on Sunshower & Sprinkle!!
