Friday Five Time

1. What was your favorite past time in high school?
In the last 2 years of high school, my 2 favourite things to do were talking with a friend about music (we're still making music now - nearly 40 years later!!) & baiting & arguing with the 'cool' kids & the sport-obsessed...
2. What is your all time favorite board game/card game?
I've been known to win poker hands by bluff alone - I'm not sure of the rules, nor the relative scores of combinations, but I have a good 'poker' face apparently. Mostly now, I play a lot of Solitaire variations on the computer, as a kind of relaxation activity. As for board games, Chess will always be my favourite, due to a happy memory of finally defeating my Father when I was about 12... It marked a dramatic upswing in our relationship that continued 'til his death
3. What is the last movie you saw at the theatre and what did you think of it?
It's terrible, but the last thing L-SP & I saw at the cinema was 'Avengers - Endgame' in 2019... We normally go reasonably often, but well, you know...
4. What is something (no matter what kind of mood you're in) that makes you happy the moment you do it, see it, or hear it?
Doing:- playing an instrument. Seeing:- my L-SP (& Bella the cat). Hearing:- 'Waiting Man' by King Crimson
5. Do you believe that crop circles are made by human or alien?
Maybe the early, simpler ones were alien in origin, but no flying saucer landing, or taking off, can leave behind patterns like the ones you see now. That's the work of unemployed design students...
