waitingman: Cameras (Cameras)

Blowing In The Wind by Justin B. on 500px.com

Taken yesterday, in a near-deserted Martin Place, in the middle of Sydney's CBD. Sure it was Saturday morning, so the place was never going to be heaving with business commuters off to the financial, or law districts, but by 9.30am, there's usually enough sight-seers, tourists, or skateboarders to make this kind of stop, kneel down, place camera on ground, focus & shoot shot at most - impossible, at least - inconvenient for both you & the aforementioned throng. Plus, there'd be people in my shot, which I hate!!

In fact, if you look closely, you'll see where I've post-processed someone out of the frame... given I couldn't remove them at the time

An unplanned & unwelcome extra day at work yesterday, as the Boss was otherwise occupied with repeatedly driving the work ute (my normal means of transport) 500 metres back & forth between his old apartment & his new one in the same suburb, the same street, just a different building with cheaper rent. So I bused into town, on a double decker express with only a few people on board, so social distancing was easy... & welcome, given the loony who was sat up the front, then walked across the CBD to the train for the eastern suburbs, where our office is. An unproductive day at the office, but the 10 minute walk across town yielded a few photos, so I may post some others in the coming days... or not
