Professionally speaking, the lockdown/isolation preventative measures we've been doing here in Australia, have been great for my industry. At the start of the year, we thought it was going to be a tough year, as sales were down, traffic of both foot & electronic origin was down & I was actively hitting the job ads, so I'd be well down the path of re-employment when, not if, the axe fell, as it has every other time there's been a downturn in the construction industry for anything longer than 6 weeks... & this one had been going since before Christmas

But stick everyone in their homes for a few weeks & all of a sudden, they've decided they can't live with their current floors, or even home itself, so all the construction/renovation companies & their specialist suppliers, like us, have been quoting our socks off... I've been to more site inspections & measures in the last 4 weeks, than I had in the previous 12. Couple that with the reduced traffic on the roads & I'm a happy boy... I don't want this to end!!!
