Goodbye Gigi...

You can't keep them safe all the time... Gigi & Bella were determined to be outdoor cats from the moment they came into our lives

Today, Gigi was hit by a car & died almost instantly. A neighbour saw it happen & she was dead by the time he got to her. L-SP & I came home as soon as we heard the news & we've buried her in the back garden... My thoughts are with her sister Bella, who's never been alone really - big Sis was always there to share the bed, share our bed, share the local lizards, share the warm spot by the heater, play-fight with, climb trees with... She said goodbye to her just before we placed her in the ground, but I'm not sure she doesn't still expect Gigi to come through the door any second
