The Big Gig

Tens of thousands of people...2 great support acts (Australia's The Preatures & Weezer), a Sydney Summer heatwave & a 3 hour show that, even at that length, didn't have all the songs you might want to hear. Only a minor quibble though - The Foo Fighters are still a great, straight-ahead rock show, ticking all the boxes - singalongs, name-checking the city, comparing audiences from other cities & how we were the best (until tomorrow night...), classic rock cover versions & the only good thing about mobile phones at gigs these days...



And a slight ringing in the ears on the walk back to the car park... A great night!
