After a couple of humid days & evening storms, today's dawn was blown in from the south east & it hasn't let up yet (1pm), with gusts of up to 70km/h (around 45mph). The domestic wildlife has elected to sleep indoors & my friendly magpies & butcherbirds haven't been sighted or heard from since 6.30 this morning... having possibly taken an unscheduled flight towards Newcastle
