Off to see Einstürzende Neubauten tonight

Been a fan since the early 80s, when a friend & I discovered the Industrial scenes in both Europe & Australia, hearing bands like SPK, Throbbing Gristle, Liaisons Dangereuses, Nurse With Wound, Severed Heads, Psychic TV, Coil... & EN... who have, over the years, become more 'popular' than many of their contemporaries, mostly due to Blixa Bargeld's time with the Bad Seeds, but interesting videos & being kicked off a U2 tour for throwing metal drumsticks into the audience probably didn't hurt... well, maybe the people in the U2 crowd...

My friend & I combined the industrial noises with a love of ambient sound, tape loops &, later, sequencers, synths & samplers in the late, unlamented Pelican Daughters... a story for another day

Now... black jeans, black boots... Hmmm... what colour shirt should I wear?
