Jan. 4th, 2012 06:20 pmThe new year always starts with a flurry of posts, as I remind myself yet again that I really should write more stuff down... According to recent professional advice I need outlets & this one is here, so I must try to use it a bit more often.
Played acoustic guitar with a pianist-singer yesterday for an hour or so. Notable because it was the first time I've played for 'fun' in a long time, because I'd forgotten how much it hurts when you don't have finger calluses any more & because... well, just because.
Summer has finally arrived in Sydney... today was hot, humid & sticky in the oven I call my office/workplace. Now:~ showered, watered & all fans blazing around the house.
