Banjo Country!!!
Aug. 6th, 2010 11:04 pmBefore the week is over & because I was not-so-subtly reminded at some ungodly hour last night/morning... we went to see Mumford & Sons at the Enmore Theatre this week & loved it!!!
We first heard these guys in a little pub in Woolloomooloo ~ their album, not them personally (unfortunately... what a find that would have been!!) & I had no idea they'd get so popular that this song would become No. 1 in the 09/10 JJJ Hottest 100.
So much for me thinking I'd found another obscure folk act nobody would ever hear of...
And, just for my everloving, long suffering lover... her favourite:~ 'Winter Winds'
