Departures
Jul. 16th, 2008 11:25 pmA day-release from Debtor's Prison today... though I could have wished for a better reason.
Unlike my 2 trained, highly intelligent staff on various past occasions (usually Mondays & Saturdays), I actually did have to go to a funeral today, farewelling the great-aunt of an ex-significant other (from last century) 'Auntie' passed just a fortnight before her 97th birthday &, having known her for 16 years or so, I was rather sad to see her go. Many memories.
And speaking of people leaving the building, Proto-Hominid was given his marching orders today by the Hobbit ~ over the phone, which I thought was a bit slack, but no less than Monkey-boy deserves, given his penchant for texting me when he's been 'sick'.
And then there were two... the Alpha-est of Males & me. Who's next?
