Looking Promising

Day 4... & most of Day 5. One problem seems to have been dealt with without significant physical or mental repercussion ~ the easiest resolution to uphold? Certainly the one test easiest to pass.

Other revisions/resolutions are shifting, gaining & holding ground for now. Tests of resolve continue.

So much for the one day off this week.

I had a call this morning at 8.45 from the Hobbit, telling me that the Monday supervisory shift "...has a few things to do before getting there, so could you go & open up 'til he arrives?". 15 minutes to shower, dress & get down to Hell work. Then wait around for Junior to arrive...

Then wait for "MD"/CN to arrive. And wait... wait... wait... wait...

4.15pm the @#&%!! finally, unapologetically turned up.

The silver lining ~ OBluV8 has a new battery & I'm independently mobile again. Also, I consoled myself with a couple of CD purchases... Herbie Hancock's Grammy winner ~ River, 'The Joni Letters', as the title suggests, an album of Joni Mitchell interpretations. So good, so far... & the latest album from Yasmin Levy ~ 'Mano Suave', a collection of traditional Ladino Jewish songs & original tunes.

Now, a quiet night in...
