The Ear Of The Beholder
Feb. 25th, 2008 05:21 pmHaving spent the afternoon cranking Wimsey the Telecaster & my ancient JC120 amp up to anti-social levels, playing with overdrive settings & "experimenting with new chord shapes" (Read ~ "making a godawful, atonal racket!!") & being well-pleased with the results, I turned my hand to something a bit quieter for the early evening...
Going through the photographic backlog:

Fire In The Sky... again

Who's In A Sharing Mood, Then...?
Feb. 25th, 2008 10:33 pmHmm... 3 posts in a day. Is this a record??
It's probably old news to a lot of LJ users & readers, but I just watched 'Slither' ~ the sci-fi/horror/monster/zombie movie from a couple of years ago, featuring Nathan Fillion as the town sherriff... & it was really good!!!!!
In the usual, sci-fi/horror/monster/zombie kind of way, of course... The Motion Picture Academy wouldn't have been troubled by... or even aware of... its presence 2 years ago, but it's a lot of fun, nonetheless. Adding to the fun are Elizabeth Banks (JD's girlfriend in the last season of 'Scrubs'... yummy!!) & a bunch of character actors, at least one of whom was also in Firefly with our Mr Fillion...
See it. To borrow another movie's tagline ~ 'You'll laugh. You'll cry. You'll hurl".
