Money For Nothing
Nov. 23rd, 2007 10:49 amA week with the foot off the accelerator.
So far...
I hope I can keep it up, actually, because it's one of those fortnights where every bill imaginable is due some time in the next 10 days & I've barely enough to cover them. 3 square meals a day of toast & vegemite coming up! No, it's not that dire, but it will be fiscally tight.
Dinner/supper with an old friend/erstwhile singer last night at a Thai place with the town's tackiest & most-outdated decor. The food was great though & I had my first ever Mai Tai. Nice!
Continuing to have lots of musical thoughts & should be recording most of them, but when I get home in the evening, I seem to get distracted by other things: thoughts, phone calls, books, semillons, movies, sauvignons, CDs, ICanHasCheezburger.com... that sort of stuff.
No idea what the weekend has in store, but I don't think it will be too much... penury shall prevail.
