What to do on a day where everything that was planned comes to... well, nothing.
Nothing, of course.
Okay, so 2 loads of washing were done, a walk to & from the local cafe was done, some pending CDs were burned... but these were all spontaneous contingency plans for an aborted musical day (& a half) that failed to happen, for various reasons ~ some more interesting than others (for the interesting ones, read Maelefic's last 2 entries)~ the closest I got was about 15 minutes worth of personal practice that was more about remembering how some new compositions went, than any sort of scale or exercise regime.
Having embarked on a re-reading of all 7 Harry Potter novels, in the wake of finishing the series, tonight I decided to start with all the movies as well. It's been a long time between screenings for "...Philosopher's Stone" & it was nice to see Richard Harris again, as well as to see the 3 young leads when they first started. Kids today... they grow up so fast ~ one minute they're casting their first spells, the next they're duelling Death-Eaters. Where does the time go?!
Not much planned for tomorrow either, it was always going to be the (recovery) day off from today. Doubtless something will crop up... I may try to get my tax done (I need the money!!) &, if the budget allows, get a haircut... & get a real job.
