Little Steps
Dec. 13th, 2006 11:28 pmSo, a little gig at a little art gallery last night. 1 guitarist, 3 guitars, 2 singers, 1 microphone, 5 songs (& an unasked for encore), spread over 2 sets of about 10 minutes each.
The gallery is on the borders of Beautiful People territory & Arty-Farty Wankerland, resulting in a mixed crowd of air & arse-kissers dressed in everything from Lagerfeld to... well, in the case of one performer ~ not much at all. Nice tassles though...
Some nice artworks too, which is the whole point, really... I suppose.
And tonight, the Outhouse studio cranked itself back into action recording basic tracks for the theme tune to the TV pilot that creeps ever closer to completion. All pretty straightforward. The only notable thing about the evening was the drive home through most of Sydney's byways & backstreets, as all the major motorways & tunnels were closed for the night. I'd forgotten just how far Kingsgrove actually is from Balgowlah...
Hopes are high for a quiet Thursday ~ we shall see.
