waitingman: (Shark!)
After a great Indian meal, all seems well with the world.

Which may seem selfish, given the array of crises & epidemics all over the planet, but hey... think globally, act locally. And if your sister offers you a dinner at the restaurant of your choice... take it. And all the well-meaning, politically-charged conversation & debate in the world, or at least the Sydney North Shore part of it, ain't gonna make our PM bow to the liberal view... hell, he doesn't even bow to the Liberal view any more!!

So one does the best one can, with what one has... inspired writing sessions with new singers, dinners with old & new friends, long walks & warm breakfasts & the recognition of passing time, as my star sign rolls around to its time in the sun for the year - not that there's much sun around in Sydney at the moment. According to the SMH it's raining everywhere but the catchment areas right now. Ah well, at least no one on the Northern Beaches has to water their expensive gardens. That'll save a bit of water at least.

Cue Australian Crawl... "Beautiful people, you know the garden's full of furniture, the house is full of plants!"

It's been a day of disturbing news on the professional & personable front, but one soldiers on.

Though the call of the unknown frontier is stronger...
