Snaffled from the 'My World' section of the Sydney Morning Herald... some overheard gems.

"There's no phone signal in here at all. That's terrible ... what happens if there's an emergency?"

- Young girl deep inside the Jenolan Caves.

"So you're going to kill yourself, are you? Well, do us a favour: don't do it in Newtown. Do it in Five Dock."

- Police officer to dishevelled, argumentative man, corner of King and Newman streets, Newtown.

Girl 1: So. He's great, huh?

Girl 2: Yeah. He's great. He's really great. He's lovely.

Girl 1: And what about ... the physical side of things?

Girl 2: Nothing much has happened. I mean... I am a lesbian, after all.

Girl 1: Tricky.
