I feel like I'm up to about my shins in the new job. Not exactly reluctant to dive in headlong, just not exactly ready... Well, let's see what week 2 brings...

In the meantime, there has been a death in the extended family. Vale Winston, Liz's cat in Rose Bay. I know nothing of the circumstances, or cause, as it seems that communications have been suspended - other than an unintelligible SMS from the flatmate. Another friend has texted this evening, asking me for information. I have none...

Some things from about a year ago, are becoming clear via a different perspective...

In other news... in the absence of other obligations, it's been a musical weekend. The implosion of the new band has been averted, the power base has been established & 2 practices have been held, one to sort out a repertoire, one to write new songs. Both positive... And my foil & I have written about another 30 seconds of drum track for a new song this afternoon. 2 out of 3 ain't bad - the Joshua band remains inactive...

So much hangs in the balance, so fragile...

But, I'm still here... & there's not a mark on me...
