Oh god I need to start exercising again. In order to do this I need to get my life in some sort of order... Where does one start. Does one curtail the endless round of dinners, band practices & social occasions that incessantly arise when one has the roster of acquaintances that I do, or does one try to organise teh working side of life to fit in that 40+ minutes a day necessary to actually drop weight, then ease off to something that maintains an aesthetically comfortable standard.

What if you can't sort out either side. Just how far does modifying your eating habits & dietary intake get you at my not-so-tender age?

If only my metabolism worked at the rate my brain has to currently at work - doing, as I'm sure you all know by now, the work of 2.5 people.

Maybe I shouldn't be that anxious for the deserved payrise... I'd probably just buy more alcohol & heavy food with it...
