'Twas the night before payday...

My subwoofer finally showed up today. It's a LOT bigger than I thought it would be... Looks like it will relocate the loungeroom furniture quite efficiently when plugged in. Bringing it home tomorrow night for total system rewiring & reintegration.

Couldn't do it tonight, as I've been in Parramatta having the cobwebs blasted out by Rocket Science & RADIO BIRDMAN!!! Think I'll check in with Rocket Science in a couple of years. They will, one day, be a great band. Just not quite yet.

As for Birdman... well, Liz was happy because Chris Masuak was in fine form. I was happy because they played I-94, we're both giving serious thought to the Saturday gig at the Metro in town. If tonight was just a warm-up, then... yeah-hup!!

Home on the smell of an oily rag in the petrol tank. Should be enough to get me to the closest open station tomorrow on the way to work... fingers crossed... legs, arms, eyes...

Addicted To Bass

At last the hunger for the beast below has been sated!

The subwoofer is plugged in, wired up, all settings redone & King Crimson are rattling the rafters better than they used to.

Which is the whole point of hi-fi upgrading isn't it??

Except I can't figure out why my turntable isn't coming through properly...

Now, white wine chilling, DVDs waiting, a humid night in is just the ticket...
