Stance... Roar... Speech

For the second month in a row, the heavens opened on a Wafflers night. I took it as a good omen, delivered my speechlet & relaxed. A joke in it about the phonetic alphabet resulted in an audient handing me a congratulatory note written in phonetics, making me realise how little of it I'd forgotten in 18 years...

But the best thing about the day was picking up my new 5.1 surround sound amplifier!!! Those of you who know the size of my speakers & the volume I could achieve with my old amp - be afraid... be very deaf'n' afraid. There'll be a couple of trilogy parties once the upstairs mob head south after Christmas - Matrix, LOTR... I'll never leave the house again.

All this & a long term problem at work moved even closer to closure. I may get paid commission for it yet!!

The only downer: Some idiot shot a really good guitar player in Ohio. Vale Dimebag Darrell.
