Working For The Weekend
Dec. 5th, 2004 10:41 pmWell, here it is, 10.30pm on Sunday night & I've done none of the day job related work I said I'd do over the weekend. Nor do I have any intention of doing it now... I'm too tired.
If all goes according to plan, tonight will be the first night since... actually, I'm not too sure... that I've made it to bed before 1am.
Saw the Eagles last night... well, I prefer to think that I saw Joe Walsh with a really good backing band - but, that said, Glenn Frey & Tim Schmidt had their share of great moments too - just that I was a Joe Walsh fan before I appreciated the Eagles & still think he's the best thing that happened to them. I mean...'Life In The Fast Lane'... enough said.
To the Iguana bar in the Cross afterwards & home by 3am. Up at 7am for my newest cousin's christening at a church in Quakers Hill - not very close to my home suburb for you out-of-towners... in fact 'close' just isn't a word that should be used to describe the relative distance... physical & cultural.
Harry Potter #3 tonight & now it's time for bed... said Zebedee...
Boingg!
