My Get Up & Go Must Have Got Up & Went

All Mondays should be optional.

A very peaceful weekend. I only left the house on Saturday to go to the beach, then my local & on Sunday to pick up & drop off various band members at the nearest bus stop (Not very near - I live on the Northern Beaches... we don't have good public transport here). So I arrived at work today fully refreshed & rested - ready to tackle a new week & all it's problems...

I need a weekend!! I needed it by about 9.30am. God knows what I would have been like coming off my normal sort of weekend... it doesn't bear thinking about...

Practice & writing session with Bernard this evening. We discovered about 20 minutes worth of song ideas we've recorded over the last 2 years & forgotten about. Some of it should never have been remembered... but some of it was pretty good, if a little raw.

Home, e-mail, webcheck, ablutions, bed. Busy week coming. Family obligations Tuesday, film premiere Wednesday, gig Thursday, socialising Friday & Saturday... buried on Sunday.
