Too Much To Think...

Work done on Middle Eastern Suburbs last night, so all went as according to plan as handing over a personal project to 3 other people can go... which is to say, not at all ~ if there was any plan to speak of... which there wasn't... so...
Workwise, it's been getting stranger. Any time I consider writing off a client or prospect ~ having done a quote or proposal for them a significant time ago & heard nothing from them since, they call me & want to move ahead with their project. My Manager still refuses to see this (leaving people alone long enough to make up their own minds) as a legitimate sales strategy but hey... it seems to work for me!! And as long as it keeps me gainfully employed until the next best bi-metropolitan opportunity presents itself, I have no complaints. It does make the weekly sales activity meetings rather interesting & not a little demanding on the creative front though ("So, what have you done this week?" "Nothing... it seemed the right thing to do."). Managers tend to take a dim view of inactivity ~ even when it's productive. However, if this keeps up, I'll be pushing for a 3 day week, at least.
And something weird's going on with my PC... some websites are misbehaving ~ including LJ... I'll see what a re-boot (size 12) can do.
Mixed messages on the personal front too... making it difficult to plot & plan more than a few days in advance, but making it easier to dream than it has been for a while.
