Thank god it's Friday... in fact, thank god it's very nearly Saturday

A week best described as 'full'. Lots of stuff done, people seen, places gone to, things realised, unrealised, reconciled, remade & remodelled.

Went Waffling tonight... a good round of speeches on the whole, but glad to be home.

Tired... More stuff to do, people to see & places to go this weekend.

And maybe off to Melbourne in a fortnight, just for a visit - details to be thrashed out & budgets to be set in the immediate future. I'll most likely be driving down with a couple of people... the main item on the agenda is to see what standard of living one gets for what money in my suburbs of choice.

But we shall see.

You say that as if weekends are quieter than working days. That certainly doesn't seem to be the case for many I know...

Quieter!!?? I wish... Weekends are just as, if not more, busy - just with different stuff.

Today was spent running around doing all the stuff one never gets to do during normal business hours - including seeing my friendly accountants, who not only work on Saturdays, but promise large amounts printed on cheques within 14 days. Due to continuing inclement weather, I'm still hopelessly behind in the laundry schedule too... but that's possibly more information than you need.

The trip southwards is not in doubt at this point, but the date may change to late August instead, due to conflicting schedules - mine, my 2 travelling companions & an important 3rd party... More news as it comes to hand.
