Princesse Féerique

This one is based around a guitar piece I wrote with an erstwhile bandmate almost 20 years ago. I'm playing the 'reverse' guitar, he's playing the arpeggios... everything else has been played, sampled, looped & effected by we two Pelicans...

Could you please tell me little bit about Princesse?

The name came about because of the little girl we sampled, singing & shouting in a long pedestrian tunnel... What do all little girls want to be? A Fairy Princess! For some reason, we decided it sounded better in French... so, Princesse Féerique it is

I have a CD full of guitar pieces that have been recorded over the last 20 years at various states of completion, which have never been used. This was the 1st one I thought of to use with Pelican Daughters, though seeing how enthused Andy (the other Pelican) was about the track, I'd say we'll probably end up using some others. Given how little guitar there is on the completed-but-not-yet-released album, this will make a nice change...
