Beep Beep, Beep Beep... Yeah!
Relaxed, relieved, remunerated... recumbent.
Auric the Pre-Millennium Falcon was sold to an Indian medicineman student in North Sydney this afternoon, for a little less money than I would have liked, but still a whole lot more money than I had. Following a test drive from St Leonards, the buyer expressed himself happy & the haggling began. I said yes to a wad of cold, hard cash, signed the papers, shook hands & wondered how to get back to my place from there - Auric was being taken to his new home in Newcastle.
North Sydney on a Saturday afternoon is a public transport desert, so I started walking. To cut a long story short, I ended up walking home. For those of you unfamiliar with Sydney geography, it's a fair trek... level going for the first 5 kms, then up hill & down dale for the next 4 or so.
Now, dinner... nice to be unrestricted by budget for the first time in a while.

Although in your place, wouldn't a walk to Circular Quay and a ferry to Manly have been just as good?
*huggles* - am going to sleep soon - too much cleaning after a good holiday.
