A better session than expected with the covers band... I was apprehensive about working with the other guitar player, as my previous encounter with him led me to believe he has 'only guitar player' syndrome - which is kind of like only child syndrome, except instead of your toys, you don't want to share guitar parts with anyone else... but he was more accommodating this time around, so we shall see

Not having listened to 'Fly Away' by Lenny Kravitz previously, I was unaware it didn't have a wild guitar solo in it. Well, it does now!!!

Only guitar player syndrome like second driver syndrome?

A little bit like that too... The other guitar player is always looking at your performance & thinking, or saying "I could do it better", or "Just do it the way I showed you!!"

I think all musicians are competitive with each other... certainly more than 'normal' people are
