With a bit of luck, I've just taken the first small step in climbing out of my financial hell-hole.

After twenty-five years in sales, my resistance to an attractive-looking/sounding presentation & offer is still incredibly low. You'd think I'd be better at resisting techniques I'm a master of myself. Doesn't mean it's always a bad thing though, as hopefully is the case here...

Do you ever get the feeling that you and I have spent too much time listening to popular song, given our predilection for throwing lyric segments around with gay abandon? And the ensuing ear-worm that seeing the lyric segment causes?

Most certainly. The random quoting & paraphrasing entrenched itself in my vernacular too long ago to worry about now...

The great-unfinished novel was co-authored with a friend who was as bad, if not worse, than me... so the book is "... A thing of shreds and patches. Of ballads, songs and snatches. And dreamy lullaby."

Well, maybe not so much of the lullaby part...
