Hey... Yes, I've been absent from DW for a while, as I've been doing a lot more photography & music... & unfortunately the evil FBook has proved to be a bit more effective at getting stuff out there. I joined the evil empire in late 2023 before Zuckerberg bent the knee to the current administration & I admit I feel a bit like those Tesla drivers who have the sticker on the back of the car that says 'We bought it before we knew he was crazy' - it's a good product, but try to pay no attention to the man behind the curtain...

Otherwise, down here we're in the last week of our Federal Election & head to the polls on Saturday after 36 days of TV ads, billboards & the usual eccentrics that an election throws up - & some of it makes you want to do exactly that. Politics here isn't as rabidly partisan as the USA, but there are elements here who do their best to emulate the Trump Culture War because it makes up for the plain fact they have no actual policies. I'm hoping the Australian bullshit detector is still functioning come Saturday & none of these 'Anti-Woke' wankers will get anywhere within a vague sniff of Parliament

Hope all's well with you, given the changes going on, that we hear a LOT about down here... As many people are saying "Margaret Atwood didn't write The Handmaid's Tale as an instruction manual!!!"
