And it's another reason I don't subscribe to any religion - I'm pretty sure any supreme deity wouldn't be in favour of genocide in his/her/its name. So yes... religion is far too often used as justification for all the things gods are supposed to be against - murder, greed, lust, idolatry, hypocrisy...
