Today I learned about a new thing - Thomassons... 'a useless structure, piece of architecture or relic that has been preserved and has become a piece of art in its own way' as noticed & named by Japanese artist Akasegawa Genpei in the 1980s. This is a Sydney-centric collection, but I'm sure you have some in your own necks of the woods...

Oh... & I start a new job... again... tomorrow. For all my hand-wringing about maybe leaving the flooring industry, it seems that won't happen just yet. Let's see how this one goes... if I make it past 5 weeks, it will be better than the last one. Which sounds like a low bar, but these are crazy times, so...
