Tension Convention
A holding pattern day.
Despite my inner blustering, I jumped through some of the required hoops at work, gained a few welcome results from my real kind of work & otherwise, just sweltered through the day - it's been one of those still, hot & humid affairs that make me wish for autumn. It's now 10.30pm & the mercury hasn't fallen a millimetre since about 2pm.
So, here at home, my number one & two fans have made their summer debut appearances. They never say much, but they're really cool. Spent the evening cruising mycareer.com & sent off 12 applications to various agencies, so the interview merry-go-round can start up again - just in case... Actually, bugrit, if that's the way the Ranch Manager wants to play this game, I'm walking - first chance I get.
I ain't gonna work on Maggie's farm no more...
