We are certainly looking at a recession - most likely globally - but I don't see a war starting over it... any war that starts will be for the same old 20th century reasons - clashes of ideology & access to valuable resources - the usual oil & other fossil-based fuels... nobody starts a war over solar power!!

Some kind of social/cultural revolution is far more likely. How violent it gets will depend on how fast the Right-Wing whips its under-educated & over-armed little militias into action
