Plenty of nightmares when I was a kid - through to my teenage years... I can still remember some of them - there were a couple of themes that repeated in different ways

The worst dreams I have these days usually involve giant spiders that are angry at me for some reason... though I'm always sure I didn't do anything to them!!. That may just be a natural consequence of living in Australia... where we have plenty of large, angry spiders that can kill you
