And we have a singer here in Australia who has 'noisily' retired a few times - each one accompanied by a barrage of press releases (breaking his silence & opening up on why he's retiring... again) & a national tour. I suppose Covid's killing of the live gig has put any further retirement plans on temporary hold & he might actually be 'quietly' retired at last!!
