A marvelous bird, is the pelican... especially the Australian pelican. I may be a little biased, of course...

It's going to be another of those weird working weeks. I had yesterday off, worked today, will have tomorrow off, then will work Wednesday - Friday, before having the weekend off. Then the next 2 weeks are going to be just as strange, as my other 2 cow-orkers take time off in retaliation for me doing it first... or so it seems to me

Anyway, who cares?? We get to do a 3 day road trip this weekend!! We're heading up to Armidale, on the New South Wales Northern Tablelands, then will be following a trail called the 'Waterfall Way', which we first discovered about 6 or more years ago, when we didn't have a suitable vehicle to get more than about 5kilometres along it - which sparked the discussion of "one day" getting an AWD SUV, so we could do trips like that... I'm not sure how soon I'll get out for a two-or-three-day lookaround but I'm missing it. I did manage several early morning photo trips locally last month, before the protests started.

Your current music: "People Get Ready" really reminds me of Austin. It was popular right after I moved there, and I recall hearing it in the car so many times as I was exploring the city and learning my way around. Great, but simple, guitar line.
