Waiting... Screaming
A day spent doing what people must assume I do best... waiting.
Waiting for the Foxtel technician, who arrived mid-morning to upgrade us to IQ-HD, but didn't bring the wireless download hub, or an optical cable to connect audio signal to the sound system. Can't wait for the customer service survey call on that one...
Waiting for a mechanic on the other side of town to finish work on my Long-Suffering Partner's car. Said mechanic knew I only have Tuesday off & has had 2 weeks to complete the required work. As of 3pm this afternoon, he obviously hadn't.
Saw Scream 4 with a long-term acquaintance this evening, as she'd decided that because we'd seen the previous 3 movies together, we must keep up the tradition. I've never been a fan of slasher films & don't even remember seeing no. 3... All I can say is there went 90 minutes of my life tonight I'm never getting back.
Back to work tomorrow... for a quiet life.
