Okay, maybe because I met you in a specific context so I knew unequivocally which side of the fence you played on --- god, that sounds awful but you know what I mean and everyone else who doesn't can f**k off with their suspicions --- but it really is the last thing I would even consider with you.

Also, YES, what bloody business is it of anyone's?! At one of my previous workplaces, I got a few questions along the lines of "Oh so you live with your boyfriend?" or "You have a boyfriend?" which annoyed me enough --- I find these questions very presumptuous from work people who I haven't bonded with --- that I shot back with "Why does it have to be a boyfriend? Why can't it be a girlfriend? Or a sheep! A nice sheep!"

*cough* I'm not sure if that sort of response would work with an alpha male. These were both women of a much meeker subversive character so I felt fully justified in lashing out with Mah Rapier Wit Ooh Ooh. It shut them up. And yeah, I guess if I was in your position, "Why don't you come here and find out?" is exactly what I would say. Or do what you're doing with the camp accent. Good on ya!
