Sleeper Awake
First, a postscript to yesterday's cupboard clearing. Here's what happens around here when you throw out old biscuits...
Insomnia ruled over both of us last night, I fell asleep some time after 4.30am, then woke again four hours later, while the Loved One managed about half an hour longer than that. Having both gone to bed before 11pm, that's a long time trying to tell your brain to shut the hell up & go the f@ck to sleep
So a slow start to the day & it never really sped up from there... not always our fault though. Breakfast at our new local café turned into lunch, as their new waitress forgot our order. Free coffees were offered as compensation & gladly, though possibly unwisely considering our insomnia, accepted
An early dinner with the in-laws ~ a litle too early for me... I still hadn't fully digested ourbreakfast lunch, so didn't really need another full-on meal. Home to House & Australia losing to Sri Lanka in the one-day cricket match. Well, it's boring if we win all the time...
I should be dragging my knuckles on the floor by this point in the evening. Alarmingly, I'm not... What's the most boring book I own??
